Hi, darlin

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Liz, an empathetic, get-right-to-the-heart-of-you coach for fellow educators, bosses, business folks, and creatives.

I’m not into upholding the status quo or accepting things as they are. I am into unequivocal compassion, recognizing the humanity in every person I interact with.

I’m not into staying comfortable when it costs someone else their comfort or momentum. I am into leaning in during discomfort and making it productive.

I’m not into conceding to the loudest voice in the room or cutting anyone down. I am into fostering collaborative, strengths-focused teams.

My books

My story starts as a queer voice teacher with one of the seminal texts on supporting transgender/gender diverse singers. There’s one for teachers and one for students.

These days, I write for my clients in educational, leadership, and self-actualization fields.

One Weird Trick: A User’s Guide to Transgender Voice is intended to support students and voice users in learning about your own voice.

The Singing Teacher’s Guide to Transgender Voices offers conversation topics, techniques, and perspectives for gender-inclusive and affirming voice care for singers.

So That… is an upcoming book meant to help you get to the root of your own motivations around goals and values. This book is through the lens of an educator, but hopefully has applicable themes for all areas of life.

Knock That Sh*t Off is another forthcoming book. It’s a snarky, sweary love note to remind you that you are amazing already.
